NCB seizes 702 kg ganja in Maharashtra, two held in interstate drug bust

According to officials, the ganja was cleverly concealed inside 100 packets hidden among legitimate grocery goods such as detergent, toothpaste and hair dye to avoid suspicion during transportation

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Mumbai Zonal Unit has busted a major interstate ganja trafficking network and seized 702 kilograms of ganja from Gondia district in Maharashtra, an official statement said.
Two accused, identified as Prakash MD and Padamlal NM, were arrested during the operation carried out on May 21 after officials intercepted a truck bearing a Maharashtra registration number, officials said.
