According to a Kalamboli police station official, Constables Akash Wankhede and Sagar Mali reached the location within three minutes of receiving the alert. Mali jumped into the lake and successfully rescued the woman

A Navi Mumbai cop in Maharashtra on Sunday afternoon jumped into a lake to rescue a 35-year-old woman who was allegedly attempting suicide, reported the PTI.

The woman was safely rescued after she jumped into a lake in Navi Mumbai and later shifted to a hospital, officials said.
