Two killed after crane collapse at Dahisar-Bhayandar Link Road project site in Thane

According to police, the incident occurred around 12:30 pm when workers were operating on a “gantry crane coastal girders platform”. A probe has been launched into the incident

Two labourers were killed on Saturday after a crane collapsed at the under-construction Dahisar-Bhayandar Link Road project site in Maharashtra’s Thane district, police said, reported the PTI.
The incident took place in Bhayandar (West), raising fresh concerns over safety at large infrastructure construction sites in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
