Man held for cheating over college admissions

A man, who used to boast of his links with premier colleges and institutes and cheat people by promising them admissions, was arrested here, police said Sunday.

Milon Roy, 29, a resident of Vishnu Garden in west Delhi, was arrested Saturday following a complaint by one of his victims, Radha Thakur, after the accused failed to get her son admitted to a management college in Pune in March.

Roy was born in a poor family in West Bengal and studied up to Class 10. In 2003, he came to Delhi and started working as a compounder, police said.
