The businessman, Dharmendra Jain, and his wife were in the middle of a bitter divorce case.

Dharmendra had to shift residence last year after his wife filed a domestic violence case against him. Following this, Dharmendra too filed a divorce petition against his wife and another suit, for an injunction on her, for allegedly disposing off their property.
