Seven booked after minor girl found being married off at mass wedding event in Maharashtra's Mumbra

Police in Mumbra area of Thane district in Maharashtra have booked seven persons for allegedly arranging the marriage of a minor girl during a mass wedding ceremony without her father’s consent, officials said on Monday, reported the PTI.
The case was registered following a complaint filed by a woman social worker.
