Hapur: A suspected case of honour killing has come to light with a couple being hacked to death in a village in the district here today, police said.

According to police, the couple was killed by the girl's mother and her brother, both of whom later surrendered. The couple, who were neighbours belonging to separate communities living in Kuchesar Road Chaupala village, had got married recently at a court in Ghaziabad, police said.
