Mumbai: 36-year-old transgender killed by unidentified miscreants in Goregaon

As Mastud was fond of wearing gold, the accused snatched all the ornaments from his body before escaping the spot, an officer said.
Deceased Suresh aka Surya Mastud
A 36-year-old transgender, identified as Suresh aka Surya Mastud, was murdered on Wednesday on Goregaon's Link Road. Police officials said four to five unknown miscreants allegedly attacked Mastud and fled from the spot after taking all his ornaments.
Senior officials from zone XI and Bangur Nagar police rushed to the spot and sent the body to Siddharth Nagar hospital for autopsy after conducting the Panchnama. A COVID-19 test of the deceased was done and the result came positive.
