The anti-narcotics cell (ANC) has issued a summons to Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, for questioning after Dubai-based drug kingpin Salim Suhail Shaikh reportedly claimed that he organised multiple drug-laced parties attended by the social media influencer. A senior Mumbai Police officer on Wednesday confirmed that Orry has been directed to appear before the ANC’s Ghatkopar Unit at 10 am on Thursday.
Shaikh allegedly told investigators that he hosted drug-fuelled parties in Mumbai, Goa and Dubai, which—according to his unverified claims—were attended by Bollywood personalities, a film director, the son of a well-known actor, a Page-3 figure, a former Mumbai politician and even a relative of fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim.
