In a major crackdown on Mumbai’s growing synthetic drugs network, the Kandivali unit of the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Police on Tuesday busted an alleged MD drug manufacturing laboratory. The drug manufacturing facility was operating in the Agripada area. As per the officials, they have arrested two accused, including a woman.
The late-night raid was carried out at a residential premises in Agripada, where police allegedly recovered more than six kilograms of MD drugs, also known as mephedrone (MD), along with a substantial quantity of chemicals and sophisticated laboratory equipment suspected to have been used in the manufacturing of narcotic substances.
