Mumbai Police on Monday began a probe into the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) bus accident after registering an FIR in connection with the matter, officials said, adding that the driver has was taken into the custody for further investigations.

A BEST electric bus lost control and collided with five vehicles near Kotwal Garden in Dadar West on Monday morning, leaving one person dead and six others injured.
