The Kopar Khairane police arrested a 31-year-old man for raping a woman on the pretext of marriage. The accused, identified as Jignesh Shah, was on the run since December 2020, when the FIR was lodged against him.
According to a complaint filed by a 39-year-old housewife, a resident of Dombivli, Jignesh had sent her a friend request 4 years ago. “After chatting for a brief period, Jignesh expressed his wish to meet her.
