The Wadala TT police have arrested a 72-year-old woman for beating her son-in-law to death with a hammer. Investigation has revealed that the deceased was allegedly harassing her daughter but cops said that the accused had an affair with the man 35 years ago, but later they broke up and he married her elder daughter.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Vimal Khanna, 56, and accused Shanti Suresh Pal, 72. Years back Khanna had promised Pal that they would get married, but later he tied the knot with her daughter. Post the wedding, Pal and Khanna did not get along. Eventually due to some problems in their relationship, Pal’s daughter started living with her.
