Mumbai Crime: NCB arrests absconding accused gangster Sonu Pathan

A total of 10 cases are registered against the gangster, of which three are by the NCB

Jaman Hidaytullah Khan alias Sonu Pathan

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Mumbai, arrested absconding accused gangster Mohammed Jaman Hidaytullah Khan alias Sonu Pathan on Monday. A total of 10 cases are registered against Sonu, of which three are by the NCB. The NCB had received information about Sonu going to meet a female friend, on the basis of which the agency arrested him from her house at Pydhonie.

NCB Mumbai Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede told mid-day, “Accused Mohammed Jaman Hidaytullah Khan alias Sonu Pathan is a dreaded gangster in Mumbai. The NCB was looking for Sonu for the past five months. Three cases are registered against him by the NCB and seven cases are registered in Pydhonie, Dongri, Kalachowki and Shivaji Park police stations. There are cases like extortion, half-murder, firing against Sonu.”
