The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has arrested suspected terrorist, Zakir Hussain Shaikh, from Jogeshwari on Saturday. The ATS produced Shaikh in the special court, where he has been sent to custody till Monday. The ATS told the court that the codename of the mastermind of this terrorist conspiracy is “Anthony”. To reveal who “Anthony” is, the ATS has demanded the custody of Shaikh for two days.

According to sources, Shaikh suspected that he would be caught and had dropped his wife at his relative’s house. The ATS has booked Shaikh under under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 18 (Punishment for conspiracy, etc.). Shaikh has maintained his innocence in the court.
