Five held for confining and assaulting 33-year-old man over Rs 2 lakh debt in Mumbai's Dongri

According to police, complainant Sachin Ranpise (33) alleged that he was forcibly confined inside a room at MM Residency lodge near Baba Dargah in Dongri between June 8 and June 10

A dispute over an alleged Rs 2 lakh loan took a shocking turn in Mumbai's Dongri area after a 33-year-old man claimed he was illegally confined, assaulted and humiliated by a group of men for nearly two days, officials said.
Dongri Police have arrested five accused in connection with the case after the victim approached authorities and reported the alleged ordeal.
