In a shocking incident that occurred on April 27, a family of four died in Mumbai in a suspected case of food poisoning. While the initial probe has revealed that they ate a watermelon before falling sick, the case has now taken a puzzling turn as police officials are still awaiting detailed toxicology reports to determine the exact cause of death.

According to officials from the Mumbai Police, the family had allegedly consumed watermelon shortly before they were found dead, initially raising suspicions of food poisoning. However, preliminary tests conducted by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have ruled out contamination in the fruit samples collected from the residence.
