The Kandivli police have solved two cases of theft of halogen lights and arrested four people. The thefts took place nearly two months ago at the Poisar Gymkhana turf and a temporary pandal erected outside Kala Hanuman Mandir in Kandivli West during Hanuman Jayanti celebrations.
Among those arrested is an event organiser, Akshay Nadgaonkar, who runs a decoration business and provides lights, mandaps, and event setups. His co-accused are Vaibhav Malekar, Prashant Iyer, and Rahul Pate.
