According to Navghar police, the incident took place around 1:15 pm when Patil was riding his motorcycle towards Thane via the Airoli Bridge. An unidentified autorickshaw allegedly took a sudden wrong U-turn on Navghar Road and hit his bike

A 32-year-old man from Chembur died in a hit-and-run accident in Mulund East in Mumbai after an autorickshaw allegedly made a sudden wrong U-turn and collided with his motorcycle near the Airoli Bridge, official said on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Mital Patil, a restaurant manager. He lived in Chembur with his elder brother Karan (35), a civil engineer.
