A 22-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death following an altercation inside a moving suburban train late Tuesday night, with the accused later being traced and arrested at Panvel railway station after an extensive manhunt involving CCTV surveillance.

The deceased, identified as Mayank Lohar, a resident of Virar, was travelling in a first-class coach of a Nalasopara Fast local train when the incident occurred at around 11 pm as the train approached Borivali station.
