Mumbai concert deaths: Police intensify crackdown on drugs, nab Nigerian national with Rs 2.21-crore narcotics

Following the NESCO drugs party case, Mumbai Police have intensified surveillance across hotels, clubs, party hubs and the western suburbs. Officers said they are continuously tightening their noose around drug suppliers, peddlers and those linked to such networks

In an ongoing crackdown against drug networks in the city, the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Mumbai Police raided the Khar area and arrested a 39-year-old Nigerian national for allegedly possessing cocaine and MDMA (Ecstasy) tablets worth Rs 2.21 crore, news agency IANS reported, quoting officers.

Mumbai Police on Sunday said they are continuously tightening their noose around drug suppliers, peddlers, and those linked to such networks.
