Mumbai shocker: Newborn found abandoned in Rajawadi Hospital bathroom

A newborn baby boy was found abandoned inside a bathroom opposite Ward No 40 at Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar. The Tilak Nagar Police have registered an FIR against an unidentified woman for allegedly deserting the child

A newborn baby boy was found abandoned inside a bathroom opposite Ward No 40 at Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar on Monday night. Following the incident, the Tilak Nagar Police registered an FIR against an unidentified woman for allegedly abandoning the child. 

According to the police, the infant was discovered around 9 pm by a 22-year-old labourer, Vishnu Shriram Patel, who had gone to the hospital to visit his cousin admitted in the ICU ward. Patel allegedly spotted the baby lying on the floor when he went to use the washroom and immediately alerted the police personnel deployed at the hospital.
