Mumbai: Five held for duping women with disabilities of Rs 7.9 lakh through fake govt job promises

Mumbai Police have arrested five persons for allegedly duping women with disabilities by promising government jobs in exchange for money.

According to a press note issued by the Goregaon Police, the accused targeted the women under the government’s special recruitment drive. They allegedly promised to secure posts in various departments and demanded money for “processing” and “guarantees”.
