Mumbai Police have arrested two accused who had remained absconding in serious criminal cases for nearly three decades. Samta Nagar police arrested Sukhen Shivsagar Vishwakarma, 53, who was wanted in a 1997 case of kidnapping and rape of a minor. In the second case, Dindoshi police arrested Mohammed Mustafa Syed, 48, wanted in a 1995 rape case. 

The cops said a combination of traditional investigation, local-level inquiries, informants and technical information helped trace the duo.
