Mumbai Police recover lost and stolen property worth Rs 2.44 crore, return it to owners

Mumbai Police returned stolen and lost property worth Rs 2.44 crore to its rightful owners following a special recovery drive carried out across several police stations in South Mumbai, officials said on Thursday.

The operation was conducted between November 29, 2025, and June 11, 2026, under the guidance of senior Mumbai Police officials. The campaign covered police stations including Colaba, Cuffe Parade, Marine Drive, Azad Maidan, Mata Ramabai Ambedkar Marg, Dongri and Sir J.J. Marg.
