The Mumbai Railway Police have returned 1,665 stolen mobile phones worth Rs 2.49 crore to their rightful owners after a large-scale recovery operation across multiple states, officials said.

The recovered devices were handed over during a special ceremony held on July 17 at Navrang Hall in the Government Railway Police (GRP) headquarters at Ghatkopar.
