The&nbsp;<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/oshiwara-all" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Oshiwara</a>&nbsp;police, on January 2, arrested a Tik Tok star with 9 lakh followers, for stealing cash and gold worth Rs. 4.9 lakh from a model-actor&rsquo;s flat in&nbsp;<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/andheri-all" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Andheri</a>&nbsp;(West).
The CCTV footage showed a burqa-clad thief wearing black-leather shoes that matched Abhimanyu Gupta&rsquo;s. Also, their body movements matched.
The police revealed that Gupta is a habitual offender and has been arrested several times since 2011, reported&nbsp;<a href="https://mumbaimirror.indiatimes.com/mumbai/crime/mumbai-tiktok-star-arrested-for-stealing-cash-gold-from-a-model-actors-flat-in-andheri/articleshow/80130454.cms" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mumbai Mirror</a>.
The accused befriended Khushboo Agarwal on&nbsp;<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/instagram-all" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram</a>&nbsp;a few years ago. He was living at her place from 12 days and would have extended his stay until he found a rented flat to shift to.

"I allowed Gupta to stay in my house. I was out of India from December 18 to 22 on work assignments when the theft occurred. I noticed the theft only on January 1. Gupta told me not to lodge a complaint claiming that the cops will harass my friends," said Agarwal in her police complaint.
The police recovered the stolen items from under his bike seat. The accused said that he needed the money and that he was to burgle at a friend&rsquo;s place who is mostly away for work.
Senior Inspector Dayanand Bangar of Oshiwara police station who led the investigation, said, &ldquo;"Gupta was last arrested by the Juhu police in May 2018 for house break-in and robbery of gold ornaments and a mobile collectively worth Rs 4.8 lakh from an elderly couple's house in January 2018. He was held at various police stations in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai since 2011 for similar offences.&rdquo;
