Nearly a week after the Maharashtra Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) water meter supervisor while allegedly accepting a Rs 40,000 bribe, a special ACB court has granted anticipatory bail to the second accused in the case, Water Meter Inspector Nandan Balkrushna More, while directing him to cooperate fully with the ongoing investigation.

The case stems from a complaint filed by a shop owner from BMC's K-West Ward, who alleged that he had applied for a water meter and tap connection on July 20.
