Mumbai: Woman booked for blackmailing online 'friend' over pics, videos

The victim received WhatsApp calls between March 6 and 8, where the woman showed him his nude clips and allegedly demanded Rs 50,000 by threatening to make the videos public

The Tulinj police recently booked an unidentified woman for allegedly extorting money and threatening to make viral nude videos of a 24-year-old man from Nalasopara whom she met on Whatsapp. The woman, who claimed to be from New Delhi got in touch with the victim last week, an official said.

According to a report in the Times of India, after meeting on Whatsapp, the duo started chatting and later got onto the video mode to speak with eachother. Meanwhile, the man stripped on video without knowing that the woman was recording his acts.
