After a crashed SUV on Navi Mumbai’s Palm Beach Road led to the recovery of suspected narcotics, a revolver and chemical substances, the NRI Coastal Police on Sunday arrested Rohit Rawat in connection with the case.

According to police sources, Rawat was allegedly a long-time associate of the main accused in the case. Officials, however, have not disclosed further details regarding his exact role in the alleged transportation and possession of the seized materials.
