The court proceedings in a rape case took a dramatic turn when the shocking revelation came to the fore that a six-year-old was told to record videos of the initiate moments of his mother with her boyfriend.  After verifying this information, the judge directed the police to lodge an FIR against the woman and the man.

On the orders of the judge, the Uran police have registered a case against the woman and her boyfriend who had asked her six-year-old son to make videos of their intimate moments. The police said that the woman had used the same video against her boyfriend to substantiate allegations of rape which she had filed after her husband got to know about her affair.

According to the police, the incident is said to have taken place between March 25 and April 3, 2024. Almost a month ago the Uran police registered a rape case against a 35-year-old man on the information of the 25-year-old woman.

"After the case was registered the accused was arrested and produced in the court. During the court hearing, an intimate video of the two in bed was produced by the victim in the court as part of the evidence. On seeing the video, the judge inquired about the credibility of the video and questioned the videographer. The woman confessed that the video clip was made by her son on the instructions of the accused and herself,” said a police officer from Uran on the condition of anonymity. The judge then asked cops to produce the boy in the court and on his version; the police were directed to register an FIR against the mother and her boyfriend.

Following the instructions of the court, the Uran police registered an FIR in the case and arrested the woman along with her boyfriend, during interrogations, the woman told the cops that her husband had left her six months ago and since then she has been staying with her son. The police now suspect that the extramarital affair could be the reason for their separation and to prove her loyalty towards her husband, she might have registered an offence against her boyfriend.

The Uran police have registered a case under section 34 of the Indian penal code and relevant section of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012. "A case has been registered recently and further investigation is going on," said a police sub-inspector investigating the case. Thus in the FIR lodged by the Uran police, the alleged rapist and his victim have been named as accused.
