Tensions rose in Mumbai’s Mankhurd area on Sunday night after an idol of Goddess Durga was allegedly damaged during a procession ahead of Navratri 2025, police said, reported the PTI.

The idol was being carried through a narrow lane when some people noticed that one of its hands was broken. This led to an argument between two groups, with one blaming the other for the damage.
