Mumbai: Nigerian man held with 180 grams of cocaine worth Rs 72 lakh in Malwani

Police are now investigating where the suspect sourced the drugs, to whom he planned to supply them, and whether he has a criminal record or any accomplices, officials said

The Malwani Police in Mumbai have arrested a 27-year-old Nigerian national for allegedly possessing 180 grams of cocaine, valued at around Rs 72 lakh in the international market, police said on Friday.

On November 4, 2015, acting on the instructions of senior officers, Police Sub Inspector (PSI) Deepak Hinde along with his team were patrolling the Malwani police station limits when they received a tip-off at around 7 pm, officials said.
