Police rescue seven missing children from Thane's Ulhasnagar in multi-state operation

In a major breakthrough, the police in Maharashtra’s Thane district have successfully rescued seven children who had been reported missing from Ulhasnagar’s Hill Line Police Station limits, an officer said on Monday.

The rescue came as part of an intensified effort to resolve pending kidnapping cases, reported news agency PTI. According to Senior Inspector Sailesh Salvi, dedicated investigation squads were formed to revisit cold cases and track down missing children.
