Quack caught red-handed selling baby for Rs 3 lakh

A quack from Ghaziabad and his female accomplice were arrested in Delhi while trying to sell a two-month-old baby for Rs 3 lakh, police said yesterday.

Quack Sumit Sharma (28), and Niharika (26), wereu00a0arrested on Wednesday from East Jyoti Nagar area of Delhi after investigators sent a decoy customer to strike a deal for ‘buying’ a baby, police said.
As soon as a baby girl was handed over to the decoy customer after a Rs 3-lakh deal, Sharma and Niharika were arrested, said a police officer.
