A Security guard, arrested for the alleged sexual assault of an eight-year-old girl, was remanded in police custody by the Mumbai Sessions Court on Monday. The incident occurred in south Mumbai on Sunday afternoon.

According to the police, the minor is currently admitted to the JJ Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and her condition is said to be stable.
