Lakhimpur Kheri: In a horrifying crime coming to light from Uttar Pradesh, a seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped and killed on Monday in a village, said police. The victim's corpse was recovered in the morning and sent for post mortem.

Deputy Superindent of Police (DSP) Vijay Anand told reporters that the accused has been arrested and he has confessed to the crime. Following which, a case was also registered against the accused.
