Sohrabuddin encounter case: Won't challenge acquittal of 22 accused, says CBI

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) informed the Bombay High Court that it will not challenge the 2018 acquittal of all 22 accused in the alleged fake encounter case of Sohrabuddin Shaikh and his aide Tulsiram Prajapati, reported the PTI.

The CBI’s stand was conveyed by Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh during a hearing on Wednesday before a bench comprising Chief Justice Shree Chandrashekhar and Justice Gautam Ankhad.
