A history-sheeter was arrested in connection with thefts in long-distance trains, a <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/railway-all" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">railway</a> police official said on Thursday.
On August 28, a woman passenger of Konkan Kanya Express was robbed of her gold chain worth Rs 4.70 lakh as the train approached Diva in <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/maharashtra-women-tell-senior-citizen-about-ghosts-in-home-in-thane-cheat-him-of-rs-15-87-lakh-for-rituals-23245994" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Thane</a> district, he said.

"We arrested history-sheeter Dattu Ramdas Pawar from Karkamb village in Pandharpur. We have seized gold worth Rs 4.80 lakh and two mobile phones," he said.
