A two-day old girl was kidnapped on Friday morning, by an unidentified woman from Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital at Bhiwandi. The Shanti Nagar police have registered a case against the unknown woman. The kidnapping happened around 10 am, but the police found that the CCTVs installed at the hospital gate were not functioning from Thursday 2 pm to Friday 10.45 am. This has left no clues for them to trace her.

Shabana and Mohammed Hamid Shaikh, the parents of the baby, suspect the unidentified woman of kidnapping their child.
