Police officers said the doctor, who was also in the i10, had memorised the Skoda’s number and gave it to the police when they reached the spot. By then, the minor had fled the spot. “He was driving at more than 90 km per hour and lost control of the vehicle,” said a shop owner near the spot. Mob spits fire Minutes later, a mob gathered and began a protest, demanding the arrest of the driver. The police booked the juvenile driver for causing ‘death due to negligence’ and for driving without a licence. He will be presented before the court on Monday. “I did not see the woman crossing the road and could not control the vehicle,” said the boy to the police.
