The Supreme Court yesterday sought Centre’s response on a plea of a former state government official seeking to implead himself as a party in the Adarsh society scam.

A bench issued notice to the Centre on the plea of PV Deshmukh, former deputy secretary urban development whose alleged role in the scam has been probed.
