A magistrate's court has asked the Mumbai Police to conduct a probe into a complaint against Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and others over a scene in his 2012 film 'Khiladi 786' for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments.

"Instead of directly sending process (issuing summons, etc.), it would be appropriate to send the matter for inquiry and report by concerned police station," magistrate R K Kshirsagar of Andheri court said in a recent order.
