He was speaking to reporters after a meeting with Anna Hazare in his village Ralegan Siddhi along with Arvind Kejriwal and Kumar Vishwas. He added, "The government's betrayal on the Lokpal was the severest but the attitude of other parties was questionable." The decision came a day after the Core Committee of Team Anna met in Ghaziabad to assess the political situation and chalk out a better planu00a0 following poor public response to Hazare's agitation in Mumbai and Delhi in the last week of December and taunts from Congress on its anti-Congress plank. Earlier, Team Anna had threatened to campaign against the parties that had opposed the Jan Lokpal bill -- their version of the Lokpal billu00a0-- in the five states going to polls.
