Maharashtra to set up SIT to probe Beed coaching class sexual harassment case: CM Fadnavis

The Beed coaching class sexual harassment case was raised in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly after Question Hour on Day 2 of the Monsoon Session 2025. So far, two staffers have been arrested for allegedly sexually harassing a 17-year-old girl

The state has ordered the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe into the Beed coaching class sexual harassment case, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced in the state legislative assembly on Tuesday.

“A time-bound inquiry will be conducted in the Beed case. All the girls will get justice. Stringent punishment will be given to those involved in the crime,” Fadnavis said.
