Thane: A Vigilance officer with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation was caught red-handed by ACB sleuths here while accepting a bribe of Rs three lakh from an Octroi agent.

The Class-I officer, Sunil B Bane, Deputy Collector (Vigilance) was nabbed last night while receiving the sum from the complainant, an Octroi agent, ACB SP Sandeep Karnik said in a statement here.
