The Maharashtra government has directed the state's Home Department to begin the process of withdrawing all police cases registered against students who took part in protests over the NEET-UG 2026 exam paper leak.
The decision follows instructions from Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, providing relief to hundreds of students who faced legal action during demonstrations held across the state, sources said.
