Thane: A police constable was badly injured after being allegedly attacked by an unknown person here in the wee hours today, police said.

At around 3 am today, when constable Vijay Sapkale (27) was on his duty in Kopri locality of the city, an unidentified man attacked him with a sharp weapon and then immediately fled in the darkness, they said.
