The Special Court dealing with the Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA) cases against three convicts in the 2003 Mumbai twin blasts ordered death sentence on Thursday.
The court had convicted Hanif Sayed Anees (46), his wife Fahmida (43) andu00a0 Arshat Ansari (32), saying that the three had carried out designs of the Pakistani terror outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) to create terror in India through bomb attacks at Gateway of India and Zaveri Bazar killing 54 people and injuring 244 others.
