Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on becoming India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister, describing the occasion as a historic milestone. In a letter, CM Fadnavis praised Modi’s leadership over the past 12 years and credited him with supporting several major infrastructure, irrigation, cultural and economic projects that have transformed Maharashtra.
Fadnavis said the country had completed 12 years of what he described as development, public trust and people's participation under Modi's leadership.
